I bought some stepper motors from someone on ebay.. i paid and they were shipped in a timely manner, insurance was paid for... this is what i got....i dont blame the seller, i blame the package kicking UPS MORONS!!!

This box was obviously dropped, it has rub and scrape marks on it, and basically looks like the UPS people dropped it out of the back of the truck, then backed over it..

1 motor just has scratches on it

1 motor has had its wires cut off (presumably because 2 motors got together in the impact and pinched them off).. and the worse one…..

THE LAST MOTOR IS DENTED, AND I CAN’T EVEN ROTATE THE SHAFT WITH A PAIR OF PLIERS!!!!!!!

 

So here I sit, all excited, my motors arrived, im all ready to hook them up to my driver circuit and test everything out, and I get the box open and AAAAARRRRGGGGG!!!!!!

 

IM AFRAID OF ACCEPTING ANY OF THEM, CAUSE IF ONE IS SO SCREWED UP THAT I CANT EVEN TURN THE SHAFT, HOW MUCH DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE TO THE INNARDS OF THE OTHERS THAT I CANT DETECT?!?!?!?!?!

I contacted my seller, he replied very quickly, and shipped a new set the next day, at his cost.  when ups arrived here, they dropped off the new motors, and took the old ones....

While i was upset to see good parts get thrashed by ups, I have to say thanks to my seller for making it right, and doing it quick.
